Singapore: No More Internet In Office

Nah, GG sudah la ni?

official news stated (well, I heard this on the radio on may way to work) that Singapore will cuts off internet to their government offices, with limited access to limited people. but they can still open facebook and watch youtube or tweets via their handphones.

IIRC (if I remembered correctly) their web was hacked back in 2013, and takda orang nak tanggungjawab. so everyone gets the chilli paste on this. haha. padan muka, lets wait for this to happen to us in Malaysia also. tak lah sibuk makcik2 semua nak berjualan dan bergosipan scara online. do it on your own time, own device, I guess.

well, not much news actly, just reaching out once in a while. w00t

He added, “As Friday was not the Yang di Pertuan Agong’s birthday, Najib has still to explain why with his new private executive jet, he could not make a lightning visit to Ranau and Kundasang”.
He also said he was disappointed that when Najib did eventually make it over to Sabah, he made no mention of any special ceremony to honour two mountain guides and two Mountain Torq trainers who perished in the tragedy while trying to SAVE the lives of others under their care on the mountain.
“I had expected the Prime Minister to announce in his belated visit to Ranau and Kundasang a special project to honour the four for sacrificing their lives so that others could live, and it is a disappointment that this is not the case.”

DiGi + STAEDLER = #ProjectPensel For Flood Victims

DiGi and STAEDTLER Malaysia are working together to provide school supplies in the form of pencils and colouring pencils for the children affected by the recent flood disasters in the East Coast. With this initiative, the children will be able to get ready for the new school year.
These school supplies will be given to selected childcare centres and primary school students at the east coast of Malaysia that have been identified by the Association of Registered Childcare Providers Malaysia (ARCPM) as the most adversely affected by the floods.

We want to help the people of Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang as much as we can during this natural disaster and we’re also trying to raise awareness of the difficulty facing Malaysians in that region. When the floods hit the area, no one was spared, and that includes children. – DiGi Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Eugene Teh.

We can also be a part of this initiative. For every share on DiGi’s Facebook page’s post that has the #ProjectPensel hashtag, the company and STAEDTLER Malaysia will donate one box of pencils to the children of the flood victims.

This initiative will run from the 10th to the 14th of January 2015. Do your part to help our fellow Malaysians at the east coast!
